Example: Imagine you’ve been asked to organise a birthday party. It could be a younger sibling, a niece or nephew, a cousin, or a neighbour. The kids are ten years old. Think about all of the organisation skills required to make this a memorable or even epic experience for these children. What is the birthday person interested in? Will it be in the house or going out somewhere? How many invitees? What food? What cake? What allergies? Who is available to help? How much will it cost? This could be the beginning of a journey into event planning so give it your best!
